Earth To Skin is an online retailer that specializes in all natural, cruelty-free, gluten-free, antioxidant-rich skincare products packed with such beneficial ingredients as super greens, super fruits, honey, tea, and vitamins.

The Challenge

After enjoying a healthy amount of traffic and revenue, their website’s sales and new traffic plateaued. This was largely due to a lack of non-branded keyword rankings for its various skincare products and product categories.

SEO Performance Strategies

  • Developed a custom SEO strategy to increase the quantity and quality of organic traffic to the Earth To Skin site.
  • Conducted extensive non-branded keyword research to attract relevant visitors who are searching for all-natural skincare products. 
  • Performed relevant keyword targeting for each individual skincare product and all product category pages within the site.
  • Overhauled the site’s foundational SEO, including creating new Page Titles, Meta Descriptions, Headings for each product and category page. 
  • Wrote new, informative category page content and rewrote existing product descriptions using relevant keywords to target appropriate audiences. 
  • Completed an internal link analysis and creation to connect relevant keywords on informational pages with the appropriate product category listings.
  • Addressed any technical SEO errors, decreased image file sizes to improve loading time and site speed, and optimized images with alt text to improve ADA accessibility.
