Employee Spotlight: Heather Wray

It’s only appropriate that during February, we’re highlighting one of the most dedicated and compassionate members of our team, Heather Wray. As Director of Operations, Heather has her hands in nearly every part of the business and truly cares about everyone at Results Repeat. Having been a part of the team since the beginning, Heather has been growing with Results Repeat for nearly four years.

How would you describe yourself in three words?

Resourceful. Creative. Determined.

It’s a typical Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., what are you doing?

On Saturday afternoon, you can usually find me doing one of two things. I’m either on the sidelines of my sons’ baseball, soccer, or basketball games or doing chores around my house while listening to Sara Bareilles. #MomLife

Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?

Wow! I can’t pick just one. In Mallorca, I loved visiting the Cuevas de Arta. The caves were incredible and the views outside were absolutely breathtaking. Snorkeling at Arashi Beach, in Aruba, was also one of the best experiences of my life. I often think back to when my family and I were swimming with thousands of fish in the clear blue water. That was a great day! And, locally, one of my favorite places to go is Longwood Gardens.

What characteristic do you most admire in others?

Grit. I’m a firm believer that dreams don’t come true without hard work.

If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?

I have always wanted to try my hand at glassblowing. I love art and have done printmaking, sculpting, papermaking, photography, and painting, but one thing I’ve never done is blow glass, and I really want to try it.

What was the last gift you gave someone?

I surprised two friends with new sun hats. Even though it’s winter, it’s never too early to think about spring!

If you could give advice to your 13-year-old self, what would you say?

Persevere. In the words of A. A. Milne, “You are braver than you believe, smarter than you seem, and stronger than you think.”

Tell us something that might surprise us about you.

I would be a great contestant on Chopped. Give me 30 minutes and I can create a meal with almost any combination of ingredients.

What are three things still left on your bucket list?

1) Vacation in an over-water bungalow in Bora Bora 2) Become such an amazing public speaker that people are envious of my poise and confidence 3) Take a cooking class with my husband

What are you most proud of?

I taught both of my sons how to ride a bicycle (without training wheels) when they were only 3. I vividly remember running down the street with them and feeling so proud when they could ride their bikes on their own.
