Kind. Loyal. Quiet.
It’s a typical Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., what are you doing?
Ideally, going for a hike or doing something outside. Sometimes though, on my couch relaxing.
Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
I haven’t traveled as much as I would like but the Boundary Waters is amazing, when you’re there you can really enjoy its beauty as you are removed from everyday life and immersed in nature.
What characteristic do you most admire in others?
Knowing what you believe in and what you stand for is important but understanding your faults and working to improve on them shows personal character that I really respect.
If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
35-year-old me: Mountain Guide … 10-year-old-me: Architect (life goal as a 10-year-old was to become an architect and move to Australia)
What was the last gift you gave someone?
I gave friends a few books I enjoyed as a child (and still do) to help them add to their baby’s book collection – Where the Sidewalk Ends, Where The Wild Things Are, and Clifford The Big Red Dog.
If you could give advice to your 13-year-old self, what would you say?
Life is a lot of self-discovery, be confident in yourself and your abilities but always be willing to keep learning and you’ll do just fine!

I love the outdoors, but I will run away from snakes and spiders, they are terrifying.
What are three things still left on your bucket list?
Travel to New Zealand and China
Go skydiving
Hike the PCT (at least a section of it)
What are you most proud of?
How far I’ve come in life so far and the family and friends I have had along the way.
