How would you describe yourself in three words?
Reliable, realistic, and intuitive
It’s a typical Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., what are you doing?
I am at the park or going on an adventure with my two boys. I value quality time and take any opportunity to explore new places in the area with them.
Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
In 2011 I called up my best friend who lives on the West Coast and said, “Let’s meet somewhere in the middle and see something we’ve never seen.” The flights were cheap and we both like Mexican food so, one week later, we landed in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Without plans we grabbed our significant others and began to explore the “Land of Enchantment.” We went down into the Ice Cave at the Bandera Volcano and we went up the Sandia Mountains on a tramway car. We explored the ghost towns and we got lost on a long stretch of dessert road and stuck behind a herd of bison. In case you are wondering, beeping your horn does not make them move out of the road!
What characteristic do you most admire in others?
I admire authenticity and courage.
If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
Speech Language Pathologist. I have a son with expressive language delays and have been working with a variety of SLPs since he was about 9 months old. I am in awe of their knowledge and tools that inspire connection through communication.
What was the last gift you gave someone?
A copy of the book “The Profit” by Kahlil Gibran.
If you could give advice to your 13-year-old self, what would you say?
You cannot change others, but you can always control the way you react and respond.
Tell us something that might surprise us about you.
I have been taking a community improv comedy class for about a year now so that I can work on confidence and mindfulness.

What are you most proud of?
Remaining grateful for the best moments, the ordinary situations, and the bumps that provide important lessons.
