Results Repeat, a digital marketing company, has been named the 17th fastest growing company in the Philadelphia area this year in the Philadelphia 100. Since 1988, the Philadelphia 100 has recognized the 100 fastest growing, privately held entrepreneurial companies in the Greater Philadelphia Region. The Philadelphia 100 is a merit-based program and only those companies that are among the fastest growing, privately-held businesses in the area are awarded a Philadelphia 100 designation. The integrity of the process and the resulting list makes the Philadelphia 100 one of the most sought-after awards in the region.
Results Repeat was recognized for this designation during an awards ceremony on Oct. 25 at the Crystal Tea Room, Wanamaker Building. In attendance to accept the award were CEO and founder, Ellen Thompson, and Director of Operations, Amy Cheatham. From 2015 to 2017, Results Repeat’s revenue grew 217% and its staff has more than doubled within the past two years.
“Results Repeat was one of just 10 woman-owned companies to appear on the list,” said Thompson. “While women are starting businesses in record numbers, women are still underrepresented among high growth startups for many reasons, but in part because women only received 2.2% of all venture capital investments last year.”
Results Repeat became a certified woman-owned business by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) this year. WBENC Certification validates that a business is at minimum 51 percent owned, controlled, operated, and managed by a woman or women. To achieve this certification, women-owned businesses complete a formal documentation and site visit process which is administered by one of WBENC’s partner organizations. This certification allows women-owned businesses to compete for real-time business opportunities provided by WBENC Corporate Members and government agencies.
It’s been a big year for the company. In addition to being named one of the fastest growing companies in Philadelphia and being certified as a woman-owned business, Results Repeat also had the pleasure of being named one of the Best Places to Work by the Philadelphia Business Journal for the third consecutive year. This designation is determined by the results from an employee survey and awarded only to those companies that earn high marks. Results Repeat was one of just 24 small businesses awarded this honor in 2018.
